Vietnam Veteran's Memorial

No Gratitude until

May 30,1999

The Vietnam War was a very unpopular war for the American people:  (flag burning, draft dodgers, demonstrations, etc.) I do not know all of the political details involved, but I believe that if the Vietnam Veteran would have refused to honor his country's call, the United States would not be the Great Nation and Super Power that it is today.

I would like to thank Linda Barron for her efforts in honoring all of her heroes.

Finally I found someone with gratitude in her heart toward the Vietnam Veteran. Her acknowledgement of the Vietnam Vet. has helped tremendously in the healing process. What you are about to view is dedicated to her and the Vietnam Veterans that never received a welcome home.

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."
